THANK YOU Bruce Bradtberg and Wife Sue

From Whyalla News
Volunteers at Weeroona Bay Football Club raised a total of $14,990 for the People’s Choice Credit Union Community Lottery.
...
If there’s one thing that Whyalla’s local groups are good at – it’s fundraising.
The Weeroona Bay Football Club along with a handful of other organisations have proved that through the People’s Choice Credit Union Community Lottery.

The dedicated members of the club have raised a total of $14,990 for the Whyalla branch in recent years, with a significant portion of that fundraising being injected straight back into the community in various ways.
Club volunteers Bruce and Sue Bradtberg contributed to the funding by selling raffle tickets in Westlands.

They use the funding that comes back into the club to purchase new equipment to support the players and the members and benefit their facility as a whole.
“Even if you are not affiliated with the club, you can come down and support it,” Mrs Sue Bradtberg said.

The couple were recently in the Westlands Shopping Centre to sell raffle tickets. They can be found in the centre every Thursday and Friday volunteering their time to raise important funds.

Since its inception in 1984, the lottery has raised a staggering $17.6 million in funding.
The Weeroona Bay Football Club is open six days a week and fields football teams from Auskick right through to A Grade.
